Nicholas D'Angelo, California Certified Public Accountant, is a well-rounded accountant and seasoned business professional with over 16 years of experience in the public and private sectors. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of San Diego with a bachelor's degree in Accountancy. Nicholas worked at a Big Four accounting firm as a tax associate preparing federal and state tax returns, along with responsibilities involving tax planning for small to medium-sized corporate clients.

Nicholas decided to continue his pursuit to achieve a higher education by attending Washington University in Saint Louis, ultimately graduating with his MBA. Prior to starting D'Angelo & Associates, he worked for a large defense contractor assisting the mergers and acquisitions team in structuring tax efficient corporate consolidations and buyouts. This led to an adept understanding of tax law at the federal, state and local level.

Nicholas has worked with many entrepreneurs in establishing and enhancing their operations by consulting with them in tax, accounting, financial and reporting areas. He puts an emphasis on creating sound bookkeeping systems, income tax planning & preparation, preparation of financial statements and business consultation. He also assists small business with implementing and training with QuickBooks software.

In addition to the above mentioned accomplishments, Nicholas was chief financial officer for an internet start up company. He assisted the founders in raising seed capital and financing from angel investors and venture capitalists, implementing an accounting system for financial accountability, and helping to successfully launch the company's product.
